Hikari

Mitsuyo Miyazakii, known as Hikari, is a writer-director and cinematographer with professional background as actor, dancer and photographer. Her first short film, TSUYAKO (2011). The film went on to screen at over 100 film festivals worldwide, receiving 50 awards including Best Short Film and Best Screenplay. It was followed by A BETTER TOMORROW (2013) which premiered at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival and WHERE WE BEGIN (2016) which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. In 2019 she debuted 37 SECONDS (2019) to critical acclaim at Berlin International Film Festival.
