Mohammad Rasoulof is an Iranian independent filmmaker. He directed several award-winning and won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival for the film THERE IS NO EVIL (2020), the Cannes Un Certain Regard award for the film A MAN OF INTEGRITY (2017), the Cannes FIPRESCI Prize for the film MANUSCRIPTS DON'T BURN (2013) and the Cannes Un Certain Regard - Best director prize with the film GOODBYE (2011).

Suspecting the involvement of his wife Najmeh and his daughters Rezvan and Sana, he imposes drastic measures at home, causing tensions to rise. Step by step, social norms and the rules of family life are being suspended.
